Head Covering?

This passage on the subject of wearing a head covering for worship is the most difficult in 1 Corinthians (But see 15:29), and one of the most difficult in the New Testament (1 Corinthians 11:2-16). Paul argues that women should wear a head covering for worship especially if they prophesy or pray during the service. It was a symbol of submission to their husbands, though it also may have indicated their submission to men who are the leaders of the church. Besides some interpretive challenges (vv. 10, 15), we must ask the question as to whether this practice was related to culture or meant to be a timeless principle. Is it for today?
