“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new!” – 2 Cor.5:17
 
The start of a new year is an opportune time to evaluate ourselves and recommit to make our lives count for Christ. This morning we’ll consider 2 Cor.5:17, a gem that shines even more brightly in its biblical setting. As we see some things that motivated Paul to live for Christ, we’ll get a better idea of what this “new creation” looks like. This passage challenges us to make sure we are truly “new creatures” in Christ, and that we are continuing the good fight and good work for Him!
